With the recent announcements from Virgin Atlantic and Delta on new flights and routes into Turks & Caicos, we are adding one more – Southwest Airlines announced its new and expanded schedule.
Starting June 4, 2024, the airline will launch nonstop routes between Orlando and Cancun, Grand Cayman, Nassau, Turks and Caicos, Punta Cana, and Costa Rica. The new flights will bring Southwest’s schedule to an “all-time high” of more than 4,500 departures, according to the airline.
Southwest has recently announced plans to upgrade its onboard experience, adding USB A and USB C power ports at every seat, offering better WIFI and adding new beverages to its already long list.
“To address seasonal travel patterns and demand, the airline brings more nonstop options for Southwest Customers, including those traveling on peak days when new time-saving nonstop service complements a schedule of daily connecting or same-plane service,” the airline released in a statement.
